We're proud to announce the newest issue of SHR. Inside, you'll find, among many, many others, poetry by Gladys Justin Carr, fiction by Michael Gills, and creative nonfiction by Ron Tanner and Bob Kunzinger.
Kunzinger's essay, "The Canon," about a memorial for the Siege of Leningrad, inspired our cover, a 1921 Russian poster designed by Ivan Vasilievich Simakov that reads, "Remember the Hungry."
Coincidental to our cover, "Views and Re-Views: Soviet Political Posters & Cartoons" is a new exhibit at the Jule Collins Smith Museum, for those of you that live close to the SHR offices in Auburn, Alabama.
Thank you to all our contributors, and to you subscribers, too. What? Don't have a subscription yet? Click on the image of the cover to the right to order yours today.
